Take the mage armor invocation, build 16 dex, use bracers of defense early on. Cloak of protection, ring of protection, all that stuff. Amulet of the harper allows you to use the shield spell. Piss poor use of a warlock spellslot considering that shield is a level 1 spell. But if you need it to survive, you need it to survive.
