Either way they work fine Muley. You'll like that gun I'm sure. Its 6 of one half dozen of the other (to me). I guess some folks feel the 209 setup might give some advantages like you said, but overall its probably personal preference. Out of all the guys I know that shoot knight plunger guns, its probably 50/50 #11 to 209.

As far as i know the only difference is the vent liner is not removable in the plug Knight sells. The bare 209 adapter replaces the jacket (FPJ) in the bolt and you load a bare 209 primer into the installed adapter. The adapter is VERY easy to install in the bolt.
